paint the Basilica

CALLING ALL ARTISTS ... Join us on June 14, 2025, for another day of plein-air painting at OLV National Shrine & Basilica. 

• If you'd like to paint outside, registration begins at 9 a.m. at the pavilion behind the Shrine (RAIN OR SHINE).  You're welcome to set anywhere on OLV property and work until 4 p.m.
   

• If you'd like to paint inside, registration runs between noon to 1 p.m., with painting being allowed between 1 and 4 p.m. only.  Artists must bring drop cloths and are limited in location due to renovation work.

Completed artwork can be submitted by July 7 for judging and inclusion in an art exhibit that will take place in the Father Baker Museum (lower level of the Shrine) during Father Baker Weekend (July 26-27).
