paint Out 2023

Thanks to all of the talented artists who took part in our Paint Out event this year.  After receiving seven entries in our first year, we received 20 in 2023!  Congrats to our winners:

• Michael Killelea for "OLV2"
• Bernice Smith for “Palm Sunday”
• Loretta Langan for “Basilica Overlooking Sunset”

Outdoor painting days took place in May and July and featured artists setting up space throughout the OLV campus and creating their own unique vision of OLV National Shrine & Basilica, Father Nelson Baker’s “crown jewel.”
