An annual, decades-old tradition, the Pennies to Heaven Penny Drop sees individuals and families coming together to leave their loose change on the sidewalk directly in front of the Basilica.  All proceeds gathered during the event benefit the Shrine.  

The Penny Drop begins before 8 a.m. Mass!
